Griffydam Community Group Walks!

Once again Griffydam Community Group has organised a series of walks providing the opportunity to exercise, meet others and get to know our area better. This should be of tremendous value to all, especially in these most difficult times. The walks will be socially distanced and in line with government advice.

Please remember to wear appropriate clothes and footwear and bring refreshments.

Sat 6th February 2021

On Saturday 6th February 2021 we will meet at Griffydam School at 10-00 a.m. with adequate winter clothes, drinks and sandwiches ready for a walk over the fields to Grace Dieu Woods. There we will trace the interesting former Loughborough railway line and discover the varied fauna of the woods and monastic ruins before returning via a different route through Osgathorpe.

Sat 27th February 2021

On Saturday 27th February we will leave Griffydam School at 10-00 with adequate winter clothes, drinks and sandwiches ready for a walk over the fields for a circular walk to Belton before returning via the Grace Dieu area and Osgathorpe.
